Lights Out Films

So Close, Yet So Incredibly Bad

The most frustrating thing for me as a movie viewer is when I greatly anticipate a film and it fails. Not that I over-anticipate, but it’s more that they could have been GREAT movies, and instead of being “just averag”e become terrible ones. Terrible because of their squandered potential.

More often than not, with these films I love the actors involved, the writers and directors. But from some hellish reason, the execution is like runny poop.

The Mothman Prophecies

The Beach

Death to Smoochy

Gothika

Dreamcatcher
