My God
Just what have I been doing these last few weeks? We bought a house. That pretty much sums up the extent of our activities. It’s not the actual BUYING that takes so much time, it’s all the other stuff. It’s not what you call “move-in ready” so there’s a lot of things that we’re planning for so that we can start the minute that we get the keys.
Finding tile, gearing up to build a fence, plenty of painting.
So that’s what I’ve been doing. We’ve already started packing our apartment, gathering boxes from work and packing them into corners. We can’t wait to get out of this S*it-hole. There’s mold behind a wall somewhere, none of the exhaust fans are connected to anything and there’s broken glass outside our door. WE CAN’T WAIT TO MOVE. To our backyard with a bunch of trees. Exciting.
