Katrina Dream
An uneasy night of sleep after watching all the horror on television. I dreamed that our room was filled with dark water with huge pieces of wood floating in it.
I’ve got nothing to add that you haven’t heard before.
It looks like the worst kind of nightmare that you can imagine. Little response from the government, hellish situation on the ground, idiots shooting at heliocopters. Drug addicts going crazy in the streets, good people helping themselves, and the weaker giving up and wanting help.
I suppose you can just give money and hope it doesn’t happen to you.
I do, however, imagine that there is going to be a significant political fallout. It’s about time. Troops, Nation Guard especially, in a country where they shouldn’t be, doing things that they shouldn’t do because they should be stationed in the states helping here. I’m sure they’d much rather be helping their own country too.
The only thing I have yet to see is the crazed right wingers talking about how it was God punishing sinners.
What a nightmare.
