My word of the year
I’m a huge fan of Colbert, so I’ll be more than happy enough to see the word "truthiness" earn its place in the vernacular.
However, I would like to suggest the following, one coined by either the infamous Gawker or Defamer websites:
celebutard
Which of course is the fantastic combo of celebrity + debutant + retard.
It describes the Nicole Richies and Paris Hilton of the world, famous for nothing more than being famous and stupid.
Use it.
I love Paris. She so pretty. Remember being in school and people that wanted you to compliment them would say, “you’re so pretty” (interchangeable with skinny, smart, funny, etc).
I was always the person that would just say, “Oh, thanks”, not willing to give in to their pathetic ploy for a compliment.
Paris strikes me as the type that wouldn’t return the compliment as well, but not for the same reasons as me….please God tell me I have nothing in common with this bumbling idiot.
Not really on topic, but looking at her stupid face just made me think of this…isn’t that the point of the blog? Write whatever comes to mind at any point in time?
